Standing Committees are those which are elected by the House or nominated by the Speaker/Chairman every year or from time to time , as the case may be , and are permanent in nature , whereas ad hoc Committees are those constituted by the House or by the Speaker/Chairman , to consider and report on specific matters and become functus officio as soon as they have completed their work on these matters .
स्थायी समितियां वे समितियां हैं जो प्रत्येक वर्ष या समय समय पर , जैसी भी स्थिति हो , सदन द्वारा निर्वाचित की जाती हैं या अध्यक्ष/सभापति द्वारा मनोनीत की जाती हैं और जो स्थायी स्वरूप की होती हैं . तदर्थ समितियां वे समितियां हैं जो सदन द्वारा या अध्यक्ष/सभापति द्वारा किसी विशिष्ट मामलों पर विचार करने और प्रतिवेदन प्रस्तुत करने के लिए गठित की जाती हैं और उन मामलों पर अपना कार्य पूरा करते ही समाप्त हो जाती हैं
